On my way back home I stopped by the ATC tower from the now gone Robert Mueller Municipal Airport.
I used this as a chance to get some closeups of the my favorite part of the tower with my recently acquired Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens.
And while I was there, I thought it would be cool to have an airplane in the background of this now abandoned tower.
Luckily I didn’t have to wait long since a minute after setting up, I saw in FlightRadar that a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 was in final approach.
And here is the whole tower in its abandoned glory, one day I would love to get in the tower and see the view from inside.
