Color of Fall
Small flower, big world.
Garner State Park
These were taken last year during a camping trip to Garner State Park in Uvalde County TX.
I took this last year of a stray cat that used to roam at my apartment complex. I haven’t seen her in a while though, hopefully she’s ok.
Austin Bergstrom Intl Airport Plane Spotting
Earlier this month I went to the airport to pickup a family member and do a bit of plane spotting. This time I went to the Blue parking garage, the view there was pretty good but the distance between where I was and runway 18R was still a bit much for my 70-200.
Will have to give this place a shot again once I get a longer lens (I’m looking at you Tamron 150-500).
Thanks for making it down this far, I need to get back into photography and posting here but this past year I just haven’t been feeling that motivated to do so, lots of things happening which did not help.
Bluebonnets and 737.
Just experimenting a bit at the airport.
Saw this bunch just chilling on a utility pole one afternoon. I’m a fan of these birds (even though they’re annoying at times and poop everywhere lol) and am working on acquiring a telephoto lens to get better closeups of them.
Taken using a A7RIII paired with a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens.
Alamo Cinema Four
My favorite Alamo by far, small enough that it there isn’t to many people at a time (even at big movie releases) yet pretty well kept.
Well, except for the outdoor sign. It has been out for some years by now, but I personally think it adds to it’s charm.
This car popped up and was parked there for a bit while I was there, I decided to take an exposure there before it left and it came out pretty good.
Both pictures were taken using my Sony A7RIII paired with a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8, mounted on a Peak Design Travel Tripod.
A movie theater near me has recently started operating again and thanks to that they have started to turn on their lights again.
Boy do I miss going to theaters though, especially to the one that my next post is going to be about.
